Megan was the senior psychologist with the Toowoomba Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) for 18 years. As part of her role at ACAT, she provided dementia education and assessment services to the south west Queensland area. During her time at ACAT, she also worked closely with the Older Person’s Mental Health Team. In addition to her professional experience, Megan also has lived experience with being a carer of an older family member, where she provided long term care, including palliative care.

Megan’s counselling style is gentle, respectful, and person-centred. She has been trained in an holistic approach and looks at how a person’s physical health, their environment and their social situation impact on their psychological health. She works collaboratively with her clients to identify their unique situations and challenges, and develop skills and strategies to reach their goals.
